Last updated: 1 April 2026. This policy explains how ZAD LOGISTICS LTD (“ZAD Logistics”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and safeguards information from users of zadllogistics.com.

1. Who we are

ZAD LOGISTICS LTD is a private limited company registered in England. Our registered office is 99 Millgate, YO8 3LL, England. You can reach us at support@zadllogistics.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect only the information needed to deliver the ZAD Logistics AI quote and support service:

  • Account data: name, email, company, role and password hash when you sign up.
  • Shipment input: origins, destinations, commodities, weights, volumes and incoterms you provide to the copilot.
  • Billing data: Stripe customer ID, plan, invoice history. Full card numbers are processed only by Stripe.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser, device, session cookies and product usage analytics.
  • Support communications: messages, tickets and feedback that you send us.

3. How we use information

We use the information listed above to:

  • Provide the AI support, quote assistant and route recommendation features.
  • Process subscriptions, single-purchase packs and credit top-ups via Stripe.
  • Send operational notifications, receipts and important service updates.
  • Maintain security, detect abuse and debug technical issues.
  • Comply with legal obligations, including VAT, anti-fraud and record-keeping rules.

4. Lawful basis (UK/EU GDPR)

We rely on the following lawful bases to process personal data:

  • Performance of contract — to deliver the subscription service you purchase.
  • Legitimate interests — to improve the product, prevent abuse and secure our systems.
  • Legal obligation — to keep billing records required under UK tax law.
  • Consent — for optional marketing emails; you may opt out at any time.

5. Data sharing

We only share personal data with trusted processors that help us operate the service. Current processors include:

  • Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd — billing and fraud prevention.
  • Cloud hosting providers located in the UK and EU for application delivery.
  • Email service providers for transactional email delivery.
  • Analytics providers (aggregated, non-identifying usage).

We do not sell personal data. We never share your shipment data with carriers without your request.

6. International transfers

Personal data is primarily stored in the United Kingdom and European Union. Where we transfer data outside these regions we rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses as permitted under UK GDPR.

7. Retention

Account and billing records are kept for 7 years to satisfy tax and accounting obligations. Shipment enquiry data is retained for 24 months unless you request deletion earlier. Support tickets are archived for 36 months.

8. Your rights

You can exercise the following rights at any time by emailing us:

  • Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Request deletion of personal data, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Restrict or object to certain processing.
  • Request portability of your data in a machine-readable format.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to secure the session. Analytics cookies are optional and can be disabled from the cookie banner or your browser settings.

10. Children

The ZAD Logistics service is intended for business users aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect product changes or new legal requirements. When the change is material, we will notify you through the in-app banner or by email at least 14 days before it takes effect.
